About the Event

Pelvic floor issues can feel a little bit awkward to talk about, right? 

However, if you are struggling with yours at the moment, you are NOT alone. 

Whether you are post-partum, recovering from a medical condition, or simply 'getting old', there is hope, and our exceptionally experienced instructor is looking forward to supporting you.

This 4-week course, 'Pelvic Floor Pilates', takes place every Saturday morning at 7.45am to support you in rebuilding deep-core strength in a gentle way... This IS NOT about crunching for 'rock-hard abs', planking to 'shred it' and 'feeling the burn'. These sessions work much more subtly than that, but trust us when we say, they are infinitely more effective when it comes to regaining pelvic floor control and boosting the overall health of the pelvic floor space.

As each week passes, you will find more confidence in your pelvic floor muscles, and have a toolkit of simple mini-exercises which you can practice in-between sessions so as to keep up the good work at home! Plus, being able to connect with others who are facing similar challenges will provide a unique opportunity to share experience, tips and guidance... 

Feeling alone during pelvic floor 'weakness' is something that no-one should go through when this is such a common problem. So, join us for this course and we will fix it together!

This course runs on four consecutive weeks from Saturday the 2nd of October (2/10, 9/10, 16/10, 23/10). 

Terms and Conditions

Classes will begin on the week commencing the 27th September and continue for four consecutive weeks.

In the event that there is an individual class that you can't attend within the package for whatever reason (holiday, sickness, other commitments, etc) please let us know via email to no less than 48 hours before the class taking place. If you do not attend a class for any reason you will lose that class from your course and no refund, extentions or transfers will be provided. In the event that The Shala needs to close for any reason during the time of the course (eg. lockdown, tier restrictions etc...) the class will take place on Zoom instead of in-person and a recording of the session will be provided.
