About the Event
This six week course is structured to provide you with an understanding of what meditation is, an introduction to a variety of traditional and modern meditation practices to keep in your 'wellness toolkit' and a safe space to share your experiences with the group.
The course takes place once per week on recurring Wednesday (19/2, 26/2, 4/3, 11/3, 18/3, 25/3) for one hour each time (6.10pm-7.10pm).
Our provisional curriculum is as follows;
Week 1 - An Introduction to Meditation; Modern Mindfulness and The Sense of Sound
Week 2 - Movement and Meditation
Week 3 - The Breath and Prana
Week 4 - The Mind's Eye, Visualisation and the Sense of Sight
Week 5 - Mantras, Affirmations and Tapping
Week 6 - Exploring the Chakras and A Reflection
