About the Event
This six week course is the perfect introduction to pilates for absolute beginners. A regular pilates practice can help to build core strength, reduce back pain, support pelvic floor function, improve your posture and promote your overall wellbeing. Come and learn how!
The course takes place once per week on recurring Saturdays (22/2, 29/2, 7/3, 14/3, 21/3 and 28/3) for one hour each time (7.45am-8.45am).
Our provisional curriculum is as follows;
Week 1 - Introduction to Pilates; Stretch and Strengthen
Week 2 - Core and Spine; Stability 1
Week 3 - Spine and Shoulders; Stability 2
Week 4 - Full-Body Pilates; Stability 3
Week 5 - Hips and Pelvis; Stability 4
Week 6 - Course Recap and Revisit
