If you love the idea of mindfulness, but struggle to sit still for meditation, this practice is for you.
Incorporating yoga postures and exercises with a meditative vibe and guidance from Eckhart Tolle's 'The Power of Now', this session engages the body and mind simultanaously in order to create new neural pathways which embody positivity, acceptance and contentment.
Free from dogma, this secular practice is a hybrid between CBT therapy and traditional yoga. Informed by science and with anatomical focus, this session skips the fluff and heads straight to the mental, physical and emotional benefits of a regular yoga and meditation practice.
Ideal for those living with depression, anxiety, stress and low-mood, this course intends to provide you with the tools and techniques you need in order to live a lovelier life!
Each of the classes on this 6-Week 'Power of Now Yoga' Course takes place every Tuesday evening at 6.10pm.
This course runs on four consecutive weeks from Tuesday the 9th November (9/11, 16/11, 23/11, 30/11, 7/12, 14/12).
Terms and Conditions
Classes will begin on the week commencing the 8th November and continue for six consecutive weeks.
In the event that there is an individual class that you can't attend within the package for whatever reason (holiday, sickness, other commitments, etc) please let us know via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no less than 48 hours before the class taking place. If you do not attend a class for any reason you will lose that class from your course and no refund, extentions or transfers will be provided. In the event that The Shala needs to close for any reason during the time of the course (eg. lockdown, tier restrictions etc...) the class will take place on Zoom instead of in-person and a recording of the session will be provided.
