About the Event
This six week course is structured to provide you with an understanding of how the body works, an exploration into functional mobility and a real boost to strength, conditioning and flexibility.
The course takes place once per week on recurring Mondays (6/1, 13/1, 20/1, 27/1, 3/2, 10/2) for one hour each time (6.10pm-7.10pm).
Our provisional curriculum is as follows;
Week 1 - Yoga Anatomy 101; Understanding Your Body and How Yoga Can Help
Week 2 - Functional Foundations; Feet, Ankles and Legs
Week 3 - You Can Do It, Put Your Back Into It; Glutes, Hips and the Lumbar Spine
Week 4 - Core and More; Revisiting Lumbar Spine and an Introduction to Abdominals
Week 5 - Up Top; The Thoracic Spine and Arms
Week 6 - Course Recap and Reflection
